Orlando International Airport

Orlando International Airport is a major public airport located 6 miles (10 km) southeast of Downtown Orlando, Florida.

There are four Airside facilities at the tri-level Orlando International Airport. You can choose either the Terminal A or Terminal B side to enter the airport. The roadways surrounding the airport form a continuous loop, allowing you to return to your original location without leaving the airport grounds if you pass your goal.

It's crucial to read the overhead signs as you approach the airport to figure out the terminal you need to reach. To do this, search for the airline that you need to use. The airport will now be a little easier to navigate, but if you end up on the wrong side, you can still get to the opposite terminal.

Know Before You Go

Although it might be assumed, Orlando International Airport's airport code is not represented by the initials OIA. Orlando International Airport was the name given to the airport in 1976 after it was taken over by the Greater Orlando Aviation Authority in 1975. McCoy Air Force Installation is the name of the airport, which used to be an air force base and has the airport code MCO.
