British Airways (BA) was established in 1974. It is both the national carrier and the airline with the largest fleet in the United Kingdom. The airline is in second place to easyJet in terms of total passenger volume. British Airways' main office is located in Waterside, Harmondsworth, United Kingdom. Gatwick Airport and Heathrow Airport, in London, are the two primary hubs for the airline.

British Airways is a full-service international airline that operates to and from strategically positioned airports on a vast global route network at year-round affordable rates. Together with American Airlines, Cathay Pacific, Qantas, and the now-defunct Canadian Airlines, British Airways was a founding member of the Oneworld airline alliance. The alliance has since grown to become the third largest, after SkyTeam and Star Alliance.

One of the biggest and most advanced fleets in the world belongs to British Airlines (BA). One of Boeing's initial clients was BA. The business began replacing its long-haul fleet by acquiring 12 Airbus A380s and 24 Boeing 787 Dreamliners in 2007. With 41 registered to the airline, BA is the greatest user of the Boeing and Airbus.
